Track 14 - Hong Kong - HK Island - "when the Prophet left, it reminded me when Jesus had to leave the Nephites😢"

hello all!
your are probably excited to know how was last saturday for me.... it was such a special event, it did not appear real at first. we received some instructions such as no pictures, no hugs or shaking hands with the authorities....
there was a lot of people in the conference room, we were with 2 of our investigators, molly and genice, we were sitting in the mandarin section. we were among the members coming from mainland and Taiwan.
elder holland who accompanied the prophet was the first speaker, he talked about the ''prison-temple'' referring to the prophet jospeh smith while emprisonned in liberty jail. the prophet with the other brethren were afflicted but this place also became where they were taught great lessons of eternal importance and signification.
one of the meaningful thing he said was to turn every disavantages into a blessing.
president nelson talked for 30 mins. he wanted to get to know all the people gathered in the hall so he asked different groups of people to stand (hong kong people, china mainland, north america, south america, central america.... and also island of the pacific) so i also stood up, hahahaha!!!.
he said that it was such a special opportunity because a few years ago there was a few people gathered and then that night the hall was full. he talked about a lot of different things but he talked a lot about temple, they were actually visiting those countries were futur temples will be built.
he also talked about us missionaries, he invited us to stand up and he talked about the importance of the work we are doing. he talked about inviting people from this side and the other side of the veil to come unto christ. when the devotional was done because he could not shake hands or give hugs, he pretended to do it and we did the same, he was so cute!!!.
it took him a little bit of time to finally leave the hall.
all of us could feel that he did not want to leave. it reminded me of 3 nephi 17 when christ visited the nephites, it was so touching

on friday, it was our temple day, my second of the last opportunity to attend the hong kong china temple.
i will go with president and sister lam with the missionaries who will finish with me.
it was great !!!
then we went with sister eleanor coker and her non member friends to yau matei then me and sister schade weny to mong kok.

yesterday, it was the li's sacrament program, for their oldest son's baptism. after the baptism, we went to the toronto's house with the elders and we 've had lunch then we traveled with the elders to the dai's to talk about less actives and have dinner. we were already so full. it was crazy.

that's all for the past week. i love you all!
