hello all! how is everмybody doing? today is not our actual preparation day because we have our temple day on friday from 9 to 12 and then our p-day. so today we dont have any special plan but we are going to meet this evening with our one for a one devotional in the kowloon tong chapel.
i am super excited to go to my heavenly father's sacred house and also we have our beloved prophet coming on saturday night we are going to bring a less active sister wang (she lives in tung chung, we recently started to visit her, she likes us so much), Юanother less active brother xie but he is not sure yet. we invited molly even though she is busy and cannot meet with us she is willing to sacrifice her time on saturday night and come to the devotional and said she will bring a friend. we invited some potential investigators.
actually yesterday, we visited sister zhao (has been a member for over a year, so pretty much recent convert)with her two recent convert sons, michael and harry. when we first went to their house michael and sister zhao were the only one home, we read scritpures together and answered michael deep questions, we then listened to michael playing the piano (he is so good one of the music piece he was playing he started to work on it for only 3 days... so impressive) but then sister zhao was also looking for her husband (not member and athee) harry to come home so she fed us wiating for them to come home. they finaly got home, he was happy to see us (he did not show but it was easy to tell), he offered us beer and fruit we told him no beer but fruit okay..... the reason why sister zhao wanted us to wait for the husband was to invite him to come to the saturday night devotional...... i dont know how many times i asked him that night at least 4 times he found a lot of xcuses and was being sarcastic but the last time i invited him he did not say anything then we told them we are going to call them before saturday to remind them for the devotional and reinvite brother wang. we love this family so much and we are definetly going to help them even when i am gone.
last friday, we had our one conference a little bit special because it was actually my last one we mostly rewatched the 2016 missionary broadcast. the new mandarin sister who is trained by sister rafie is from thailand but she makes me think of heirani.
last saturday, we went to tung chung to visit our les active, wang lei, we ate dumplings together then we shared a message about the restoration then read the book of mornon together. she wants us to visit her more often and she also already gave me her weechat number so i know i need to download whatsapp and wees]chat when i m home in order to keep in touch with them.
also last week, president lam annouced that our mission will use smartphones, right when i am leaving or a couple days before.
