Track 12 - Hong Kong - HK Island - " I felt like the heavens were really opened..."

Hello! 




We had a great general conference me and sister schade were so excited. it was actually sister schade first general conference in the mission field. this past week it was not really successful for us but we are not down. the past general conference helped me to have more faith, recenter on my savior. this week our investigators were still not able to meet because busy with work or out of town.


Saturday morning session was so special with the solemn assembly. i felt like the heavens were really opened and that the church of jesus christ of latter day saints is truly the church of jesus christ. i also felt like heavenly father really loves us. i am so grateful for the prophet jospeh smith his simple prayer who lead him to restore the church. it helped me reflect on how simple and small prayers and faith are and how great and marvellous things can happen, what an individual faith can produce!!!. it is something we talked about one time during disctrict meeting we were talking about jospeh smith while concerting on acting on the verse he read in james 1:5 he did not expected that big and sacred experience to happen.
One of my favorite talk was given by elder bednar on meekness, its a big thing that i observe around me, everyone truly need to develop this attribute.


On saturday after the morning session, sister toronto (expatriate in our mandarin branch) bought two large pizzas for the missionaries and for some other senior couples.
for dinner, we were invited by our relief society mandarin branch president with the elders to make dumplings and then eat together.


We met with molly on thursday in a library, we read the book of mormon together then she taught us more mandarin and i taught her french.
in the evening, we had sports night, we had 3 new friends joining us (one member).
it was also transfer day


Wednesday evening with the elders we went to visit the chen family, they actually forgot about the appointment. so we went there and talked to the domestic helper and she ordered pizza hut for us. we played with the daughters and the parents.


Tuesday evening, we went with the elders to visit our branch president. we ate together then talked about the work, less actives... then read the scriptures together.


Next week we will have our zone conference and tonight with the elders we will visit the li family, we are expecting to have korean food so i am excited hahaha

Track 11- Hong Kong - HK Island - I WILL SEE OUR LIVING PROPHET !!!

hello all!
Salut a tous!
saturday night our roommates received the move call i am not moving for this last transfer and sister schade is not as well.
Samedi soir, nos compagnes de chambre ont recu leur appel de transfert, je ne bouge pas pour ce DERNIER TRANSFERT, et Sr Schade non plus.
but our international zone is changing: elder yang is moving to the new territories, elder garcia is coming back and will be with elder smith, sister arago, sister loo, elder cobabe are going home so sister slanged will stay and be companion with sister lee (sister raffle's companion) and she is moving to tagalog work, sister raffie is training the new mandarin sister, sister dodge will be companion with sister frandsen (a cantonese missionary) she can speak mandarin she is chinese. elder clarck will be with elder ke and stay as assistants.
Cependant, il y a des changements dans la Zone Internationale: Elder Yang est transfere a New Territories, Elder Garcia revient sur HK Island et sera compagnon avec elder Smith. Sr Arago, Sr Loo et Elder Cobaye rentrent chez eux (ils ont fini). Donc, Sr Slanged va rester et sa compagne sera Sr Lee (la compagne de Sr Raffie) et elle retourne avec les Sr Tagalog, Sr Raffie va former la nouvelle Sr mandarin, Sr Dodge sera avec Sr Frandsen (une missionnaire cantonais), elle parle aussi mandarin, elle est chinoise. Elder Clarck sera avec Elder Ke et seront les Assistants.



the past week, was easter holiday so most of our investigators once again were back to their hometown. but it was a good thing because we used our time to visit some less actives and we have been pretty successful. we were able to visit ma tian hui and wang lei, we are rescheduling them for this week.
La semaine passee, avec la Paques, nombre de nos investigateurs sont rentres en Chine. Le point positif est que ca nous a permis d'aller voir nos inactifs et ca c'est avere plutot positif. Nous avons pu voir Ma Tian Hui et Wang Lei, nous retournons les voir cette semaine.


sorry i don't have a lot of time today but in general everything went great i am still working hard, i am not that tired anymore.
i am super excited for general conference and i am so happy because before i live hong kong i will see our living prophet, and we will have a branch bbq activity and i hope will have more time to figure out what is heavenly father plan for me for after mission.
Je suis desolee, je n'ai pas beaucoup de temps aujourd'hui, mais en general, tout s'est bien passe. Je continue a travailler dur, et je ne suis plus fatiguee comme auparavant.
J'ai super hate de la Conference Generale et je suis Hyper contente parce qu'avant de quitter Hong Kong, JE VERRAI LE PROPHETE VIVANT, et nous allons avoir une activite barbecue avec la branche et j'espere avoir le temps de comprendre quel plan mon Pere Celeste a prevu pour moi apres ma mission.


please keep praying for our current investigators and also to for he lord to lead us to those who are ready to receive the only true and restored gospel of jesus christ.
S'il vous plait, continuez a prier pour nos amis (e) actuels et aussi pour que le Seigneur nous conduise vers celles et ceux qui sont prets a recevoir le seul et vrai evangile retablit de Jess-Christ.
